Objective:
Your goal is to plan a 10-week organic marketing campaign that builds up to a sales push in the 10th week, aiming to achieve $50k in sales. The campaign should leverage only organic marketing—no paid ads, PPC, or sponsorships. We want to see how you identify and target a clear micro-niche, segment the audience, and position OneHour Digital in a way that drives meaningful engagement and conversions.
Structure & Requirements:
- Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) Strategy:
- Before diving into the week-by-week plan, clearly define:
- Segmentation: What specific audience segments will you focus on? (e.g., freelancers, early professionals in specific industries, students, etc.).
- Targeting: Choose one micro-niche to target in your campaign. Who are you focusing on within the larger audience? Why did you choose this segment?
- Positioning: How will you position OneHour Digital to this micro-niche? What is the unique value proposition you’ll offer them? Make it clear what pain points your campaign will address, and how OneHour is the best solution for this audience.
- Offer Definition: What specific offer will you be promoting in week 10? Is it a discount, a time-limited offer, or exclusive access to features? How will this offer appeal specifically to the micro-niche you’ve chosen?
- 10-Week Campaign Plan (2 pages max):
- After defining your STP and offer, outline a 10-week timeline of activities that will build up engagement, trust, and interest, culminating in the week 10 sales push.
- Use only organic marketing methods—no paid ads, no sponsorships, just creative, high-impact strategies.
Structure & Narrative:
1. Segmentation, Targeting & Positioning:
- Segmentation: Break your audience into relevant segments (e.g., freelancers in marketing, students in design, etc.). Choose the most promising segment.
- Targeting: Explain why you chose this specific micro-niche. What makes them the ideal audience for this campaign?
- Positioning: Define the message you’ll use to position OneHour as the perfect solution for this micro-niche. What pain points are you solving? Why is OneHour the best fit for them? How will you communicate this?
2. Weekly Breakdown (Weeks 1–9):
- Building Awareness & Engagement: For each of the first 9 weeks, outline the organic marketing activities you’ll run. Examples might include:
- Social Media: Content to educate and engage your chosen micro-niche. Could be posts, user-generated content challenges, or influencer partnerships.
- Email Campaigns: Building your list with valuable, relevant content and nurturing leads.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Identifying influencers or relevant communities in your niche to collaborate with and amplify your message.
- Community Engagement: Driving conversations and creating user-driven content like success stories or testimonials.
- Lead Generation Activities: Anything you can do organically to capture leads and drive them toward conversion in week 10.
3. Sales Push (Week 10):
- Converting Interest into Sales: For the final week, outline how you’ll convert the interest you’ve built into $50k in sales. Will you offer a time-sensitive discount or another compelling offer? How will you create urgency?
- Use of Channels: Explain how you’ll use your organic channels (social media, email, community, etc.) to maximize conversions during this critical week.
Tone & Style:
- Keep the language simple, clear, and practical. We’re a bootstrapped startup, so think about creative ways to stretch our resources.
- Explain why each activity will work for your chosen micro-niche and how it aligns with your positioning and the offer.
Technical & Style Notes:
- Length: The entire campaign plan, including the STP strategy and 10-week breakdown, should be no more than 2 pages.
